A Bit About Me
Alexis Bountros was born in Sydney Australia and moved to Greece at the age of 7, following his parents repatriation. In 2009 he graduated from the American College of Greece with a Degree in Music and was awarded the Special Award for Artistic Achievement. Over the following years he has worked as a professional session musician and collaborated with a wide range of artists both home bound and internationally. Some names include: Leon of Athens, Mamacita On Fire, Penelope Anastasopoulou, Sakis Rouvas, Notis Sfakianakis, Dope MC, Sykes, Heat, C:Real, Maria Elena Kyriakou, Alex Economou, Marina Satti and Eva Tsachra.
He has also performed at the biggest venues of the country, in major festivals, radio shows and television exclusive shows. In 2017 he successfully completed his Guitar Degree with Honours (RGT University of West London, London College of Music).
His diverse playing styles range from Greek folk, jazz, soul, rnb, funk, pop, electro and hard rock.
He is also a songwriter and music producer, having composed and produced music for several artists and other media.
